The Alumni Unit has a comprehensive database of relevant information on all alumni and final year students. Such information include names, programme, matriculation number, sex, telephone number, e-mail address, contact address, address/telephone number of next-of-kin and employment details.

Bowen University Year book
The Alumni Unit produces a year book for each graduating set to make them stay in touch even after graduation. It contains the necessary information about an alumnus.

Job Placement
In view of the fiercely competitive and hostile job market in which most young graduates are seeking employment in the country, the unit assists graduates to secure employment. The unit assists in fixing students for their three months Industrial Training as well as to secure permanent employment. Relevant information of graduating students with a good academic record are periodically forwarded to companies that have working relationship with Bowen University. The feedback has been impressive.

Career Counseling
Graduate employment figures in Nigeria have continued to escalate with every successive session over the past few decades. The Alumni unit gives proper counseling to final year students and Alumni on job related issues.

Career Support Service
Career employment workshops are periodically organized for final year students. Professionals and experts from diversified areas of studies are invited as resource persons to give career talks.
