ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES 2010/2011 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the 2010/2011 academic session in the underlisted programme leading to the award of Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees of Bowen University.

A. POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME
1. Faculty of Agriculture (M. Sc. & Ph. D)
Various areas of specialization in each of the following:
a) Agricultural Economics
b) Animal Science
c) Crop Protection
d) Environmental Management

2. Faculty of Science and Science Education (M. Sc. & Ph. D.)
Various areas of specialization in each of the following:
a) Chemistry
b) Mathematics
c) Microbiology
d) Physics

3. Faculty of Social and Management Sciences (M. Sc. & Ph. D)
Various areas of specialization in:
Accounting

B. METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms can be obtained from:
The Secretary,
Postgraduate School,
Bowen University, Iwo,
Osun State.

C. INSTRUCTIONS
a) Complete and return the Application Form with the required documents and a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000) only in bank draft payable to Bowen University, Iwo.

b) Completed application form must be accompanied with:
i) WASC/GCE O’ level certificate
ii) Bachelor’s degree certificate
iii) Masters degree certificate for Ph. D. applicants
iv) NYSC discharge certificate/certificate of exemption (where applicable)
v) Marriage certificate or evidence of change of name where applicable
vi) 10 Recent passport photographs

c) Candidates must ensure that their academic transcripts are sent directly to:
The Dean,
Postgraduate School,
Bowen University, Iwo,
Osun State.
